A shot taken from the MBS Skypark before a storm. It’s never easy to run a business and moreover survive in Singapore due to the intense competition we face. Lack of natural resources, we can only depend on trade and industries to drive our economy. This 3 skycrapers sort of resemble a podium for the top 3 in any competitions. But with dark clouds and a gloomy economic outlook coming, it’s really hard to predict the outcome in the near future.

An offshore trip to Raffles Lighthouse for the Singapore Maritime Week photography competition. The skies started to become extremely gloomy at this stage and the only way to bring out this lighthouse was to convert to black and white and emphasize on the majestic lighthouse against the skies and against time.

This lone tree at Changi Beach has been one of a few icons of the place, pity that it has now collapsed as of last year in 2010 after withstanding decades of waves hitting it. I still remember the younger days even before the boardwalk was built, this place has been a fave spot for fishing and wading at low tide for shellfish and sea life. Till today, it’s still a charming place. Retreated and retired, as the name suggests, the lone tree has retired today and remains are what can be seen during retreated tides.

It was the crossover from 2009 to 2010 and Tangshooters were at their regular night walk for this crossover through CBD. This shot was taken and processed in PS to give the overall dynamic and surreal feel that the skycraper is reaching for the skies.

Singapore Flyer revisited. Got 2 tickets last year from friend for the SG Flyer. It was not the best weather as me and friend were caught in a thunderstorm on route to the Flyer. Then it was cloudy and moody when we took the ride. View up there was nice but if the weather was better, it would have been nicer.
