This shot was taken with a Canon G11 in Singapore, 2010.

It was a day with fellow Tangshooters at RWS Universal Studios Singapore soft opening. Rain come upon us right as we entered and we were lucky that the skies cleared pretty fast after a short showers. Far far away castle as it was called.

It was an assignment for friends and it was to be my first maternity shoot. Deployed my buddy photographer and really had a great time and fun shooting.

It’s really amazing how life can be, to see how big the mummy’s tummy can stretch and hold that precious life in it. A mom is indeed admirable, bearing in mind the labour pains, the 9 months of carrying the baby, and in time to come, taking care of the baby when he/she comes into the world.

Sharing some of shots from the shoot. The rest can be found in the album here -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/kuantoh/sets/72157626574796440/with/5653407509/

It was an eventful year with several memorable events to mark down in 2010. Moving on, 2011 is indeed a year for me to look forward to even more. Be it work, family or hobby, everything in life starts to piece up together to complete one part of my life long jigsaw puzzle. There are definitely lessons learnt in 2010 that I have remembered to take into 2011. There are people I met that inspired me, be it worklife or in leisure.

I just want to take the chance to thank all for the support rendered in all areas and inspirations from all which help me move into 2011 with enhanced confidence. To top it up all, I have more family commitments to be attending to in 2011 onwards and family has always been my priority. Work second, photography third.

Wishing all a Happy New Year and all the best in 2011 for everything we do. As usual, a couple of shots to welcome the New Year.

Recent weather have been of sorts, so I will just wish for sunshine days in 2011 so that I can go sunrise shoots again. Lol…

Wet wet weather. Met up with DK at Singapore Expo to board the free shuttle to Changi Naval Base. Rain slowly fell down and only got heavier till 11 when it finally reduce to a drizzle. Most shots are taken in rain conditions but somehow brought out a certain mood to the overall open house. First trial run of 16-35 on D700. Compared to my past 10-20 on D300, I am definitely rusty from shooting UWA. Need to recover back the feel of it.

Some coverage of this event on a wet Saturday.

Did this shoot with some Tangshooters butties a couple of weeks ago. Michael was back from Kuching for a week and together with the old time butties, we had a nice shoot on a humid night at Kallang Circle Line MRT area.

Some shots to share from that shoot. I have to say, Amy is a daring model to climb high and lie low to get these shots. Credits to her professionalism.

It’s a nice TFCD session with Ashley Hy (Haiyan) and some Tangshooters butties a few weeks ago after some layoff from portrait shoots. Ashley, I have to say, is a sporting and willing model. So I hope this set does justice for her portfolio. Sharing some compilations from this shoot.

It was a random shoot with Jimmy, Hee, Zheng and me. Zheng got a trial shoot for his cousins and friends and doing a good time building up his car portfolio. I think zheng has great potential in shooting portraits too. Great eye for composition. 🙂

Just sharing some shots from the trial shoot. Been rusty with shooting still life nowadays after dedicating more time to landscapes and my darling… haha…
