A sunrise at Changi Beach CP6 yet again. This time with a very good condition pot at dawn just before sunrise. The exposure was just right with the help of a 3 stop GND. The sand formations sort of complement the pot, giving it more depth and the colors gives the overall feel of the pot shouting for attention against the sunrise.

This lone rock in the background should be the king of rocks along CBW. Standing at a height of about 2.3meters against the waves and winds, its a sight that you wont miss while strolling along the boardwalk. This was a sunrise shot, which was not really a popular sunrise location as it’s backlitting the big rock. However, it gives it a sense of majesty as it leads all the rocks “out at low tide”.

The sunset in town was extremely vibrant. This sudden burst of orangy red cast onto the clouds against Central at Clarke Quay was a sight to see. Complement this scene with a boat emerging from under the bridge. I call this emerging. One – Emerging of the boat. Two – Emerging of the clouds against Central lit up by the sun.

Taken on a peaceful morning sunrise from Esplanade. This panorama was taken before the palm of the MBS was completed. Coupled with the moon setting during dawn, I name this as the Rise of the Decepticons. Why? I never liked casinos as they destroy families of gambling addicts. This 3 towers are deceptive of the real intentions of what was behind. With the completion of the palm, the decepticons have taken over power from the autobots once again and evil shall rule. Lol…

Not a regular sunrise hot spot for me. The area was littered with plastic bags and debris. Waters were not clear. Nevertheless, when all seems to be gone for this particular morning sunrise, the colors came out from background to lit up the day. Sembawang jetty is a hot spot for fishing and campers overnight. At low tide, this area do have a little bit of potential.

An offshore trip to Raffles Lighthouse for the Singapore Maritime Week photography competition. The skies started to become extremely gloomy at this stage and the only way to bring out this lighthouse was to convert to black and white and emphasize on the majestic lighthouse against the skies and against time.

An offshore trip to Kukup Island for the Singapore Maritime Week photography competition. Not really related to the competition but this has been a favorite sunrise shot for me as the low tide at this area with some waters still in this bay and the vibrant sunrise together with such symmetrical reflections kept me standing in the waters for at least 10 minutes while others head for the breakwaters. My shoes were soaked though…
